ADR MediationTool 1.1

Publisher Description

Plaintiff or defendant, in the negotiation act of the ADR mediation, make the best profit out of the demand and offer dance by feeding your decisional process with meaningful data. Anticipate your opponent’s move and forecast the settlement amount.

Sensitive data protection is guaranteed as collected data are exclusively held in your hand. MediationTool works offline because it does not need to exchange data with external servers.

• COMPUTE – The objective is to reach the negotiation final outcome as far as possible to the reservation point. It is extremely important, that the decision process generating the proposed figures is fed with negotiation status data. These status data are expressed as numerical relation amongst demand and offer rounds values. They include midpoint, bracket, response ratio, and trends intersection. Computed values can indicate if the opponent is following a particular tactic, or they can be used to signal your intention to settle at a specific amount. Compare these computed values with your reservation point before making the next move .

• FORECAST – Apply finance analytics to predict where negotiation rounds are heading to. Demand and offer rounds can be represented by time series like finance stock prices. The time series model can account for randomness and trends. Randomness is associated to negotiator’s moves, which are either guessed or dictated by emotional responses. Trends are patterns of behaviour associated to move sequences, resulting from the application of a specific tactic. Adopt volatility indicators to identify randomness and isolate reliable trend. Use linear regression analysis on reliable trend to compute the settlement amount as a result of the demand and offer trends intersection.

• PLAN – How to learn from the past negotiations? Generate reports in PDF file format containing the tracked negotiation rounds data and plotted trends. Send the generated report at the e-mail address of your choice or archive it on the iPhone. Analyse the reports to improve the next negotiation strategy. Identify the opponent applied tactics and compare them with yours. Learn the opponent’s pattern of behaviour to be prepared in case you would have to deal with the same negotiation style.
